HEY YOU GUUUUYYYYS
This week has been super super awesome! My goal this time is to write a shorter email, because I talk way too much.
So last P-day was really fun because we were playing games at a park.
On Tuesday we had Sisters conference! All the Sisters in the mission went to the mission home in Nampa (fun fact: Nampa always smells like burnt peanut butter because of a factory they have there) and we did different classes and built unity and ate really good food! We also got to be in our pajamas all day!
On Wednesday we had district council and then we had exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders (STLs)! The only thing was that the STL's normal car was in the shop because some Elders backed their car into it. So they had the AP's Truck! It was this big, beautiful, shiny, red truck and I wish I had gotten a picture with it but I didn't. But since the STL I went with couldn't drive, I got to drive the APs truck! And what's more, the machine that Is in the car and tells at you if you go over the speed limit or do something crazy (it's called a TiWi) didn't tell at me. Not once! So I am obviously a master driver.
Exchanges were fun! We met the Sorrells, who are apparently famous mission-wide! They gave me a "garment grooming device". If you want to know what that is, I'll tell you in 18 months! We also gave out a book of Mormon on exchanges, which was really great because the man was able to see that the Book of Mormon is actually about Jesus Christ, which was awesome!
Thursday was good too! We exchanged back and then Sister Tunstall and I did some visits! We gave out three Book of Mormons and we met this really nice pastor of a different church! And then, we visited a part member family and started teaching their young daughter! Miracle!
On Friday we did service for the Earls, they're a part member family and we are teaching their daughter, Maggie. They are remodeling everything in their house and so we were there a lot this week. Sister Tunstall and I also got to go to a meeting for Light the World because we're on the Light the World committee for our mission!!! I'm so excited about it! It's going to be great this year! Hey! If you go to Lighttheworld.org you can sign up to get daily texts for the service prompts!
Saturday was really good! We briefly met Connor and got his number and set up a time to come back. We also saw Dan and I said, "hey Dan, we want to have a lesson with you on Tuesday" (We decided to just tell him when and where we would have a lesson because he's really flaky) and he said "Okay! I'll make it this Tuesday!" So hopefully that will work out! We went to do service with Earls but it was interesting this time because their grandma stopped by for a surprise visit, which was bad. It was bad because the Earls' extended family don't know about their youngest daughter, Stephanie Rose. If they found out that she existed, it would be bad because they told Ashley, their mom, "you already have too many kids" so when their grandma stopped by, Maggie literally scooped her up and took her to a room to hide her. It was intense. After that Sister Ingersoll took us to get Costa Vida and Crumbl cookie because she's an angel. At Crumbl cookie, we met someone who the Elders are teaching, and she's amazing!
Sunday was the usual! Going to three sacrament meetings, ward correlations, meetings, then dinner and then visits! It was a really good day, just super busy.
Anyway, I'm sorry that my email was still long, but at least it wasn't as long!
3 Nephi 17:5-7
5 And it came to pass that when Jesus had thus spoken, he cast his eyes round about again on the multitude, and beheld they were in tears, and did look steadfastly upon him as if they would ask him to tarry a little longer with them.
6 And he said unto them: Behold, my bowels are filled with compassion towards you.
7 Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy
