Week 13- Spidey-Bells! ❄☃️🎁🎄🎅

December 30, 2019
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This week went so fast, but it was really good!
On Monday night a member took us out to a Mexican place they raved about, and it was pretty good for Idaho Mexican food! We also went to the Scentsy lights with Gabby Horrocks, who is a crazy driver but we love her!
Tuesday we spent most of the day delivering Christmas cards, but we had so many that we didn't finish before dinner. We had really good tacos for dinner, and that was really fun! We also went to a member's Christmas Eve party because we aren't allowed to proselyte on Christmas Eve.
Christmas was awesome! We spent the morning at the Dye's and had breakfast with them and opened our presents! Thank you so much to everyone who sent me things, I got a lot of amazing things! We went to the Earl's in the afternoon and we were allowed to watch one PG movie, so we watched Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, hence the title of this email! Then we went to the Mckinlay's house and had dinner with them and played fun games! It was a good day!
On Thursday it was a little slower because it's the day after Christmas, so we finished delivering Christmas cards, even though they were late. We had a lesson with Heather that night and taught her the word of wisdom. She had a hard time at first, but as we taught her, her heart softens a little more and she knew that following it would take an act of faith.
Friday was kind of boring, it was mostly us trying to find people and people not wanting to talk to us, but that's how it is sometimes. The Jacobs took us to see some cool Christmas lights during the last hour of our day though, and that was fun!
Saturday was the same as Friday, but it was still a good day! I'm sorry that my week isn't that exciting, during the holidays, no one wants to see your face if you're a missionary, and that's hard but it's good! We are out here doing the most important work, and Heavenly Father sees that and blesses us!
Sunday was our normal Sunday, lots of Sacrament meetings and church meetings and then trying to go out and find someone to teach but no one wanting to talk to us, but everytime we knock on a door I get a little bolder and a little better, and I get to share my testimony of Jesus Christ, even if they slam the door in my face, and it's the best! Anyway, I'm having fun and learning a lot! I love you all! Let me know how you are doing! Thank you so much for all your prayers!

Alma 34:8
And now, behold, I will testify unto you of myself that these things are true. Behold, I say unto you, that I do know that Christ shall come among the children of men, to take upon him the transgressions of his people, and that he shall atone for the sins of the world; for the Lord God hath spoken it

Sincerely,
Sister Hatch
