Hey Howdy Hey Everyone!
This week has been wiggity wack, and I have to try to remember it all!
I guess not a ton happened during the first part of the week, except Sister Jones and I were desperately trying to find someone to teach, and had no luck. Sister Jones also got to say goodbye to some of the members she bonded with in the short time she was here. It was kind of sad, we weren't expecting her to leave so soon! Except I got ANOTHER FLAT TIRE and I don't want to point fingers, but it was Sister Jone's fault, haha! She (jokingly) told me, "I hope you get another flat tire" and then what happened? I got another one! She jinxed me :(
On Thursday we had transfers and Sister Jones left for Caldwell and I got Sister Beckstrand! It has been a fun few days with her! We also had a lesson with an inactive member, which was great!
On Friday we had district council, which is always funny! Our district is just crazy.
On Saturday got to help with a bridal shower for an inactive member who is trying to get reactivated! We helped set up chairs, decorate, greet people and when she opened her presents we threw away the wrapping and tissue paper and wrote down who gave her what so she could write thank you cards, it was really fun! Then we had a lesson with David, who is not progressing but I know he feels the spirit, he just needs to accept that it is from God!
Sunday was hectic, we bounced around from meeting to meeting, but the big kahuna was the Bishop Youth Discussion we got invited to participate in. It was on dating. Yep, we got to sit with awkward teenagers and talk about standards for dating. It was actually pretty funny, the Bishop set up a jeopardy game for it. The kids were really uncomfy, it was kind of hilarious. Anyway, my week was a bit boring, but there it is! I love you all! Let me know how you are!
