Week 22- That Sweetheart I'm Looking At

March 2, 2020

Hello Everyone! Happy March! One more month until General Conference! I am SO excited for this General Conference! It is going to be UNFORGETTABLE! Today is also my 5 month mark, and that's crazy!

Not much happened this week, but here are a few highlights!
On Tuesday we helped an old woman move, but she wouldn't let us pack anything for her so all we could do is organize her beads. But she was sweet and told us fun stories about her life. We also stopped by Heather's house and had a really good visit, although we didn't teach an official lesson.
Wednesday was funny, we were serving at a memory care center and one of the residents there is named Mary Young, and she was telling an Elder, "she's a cute one" and I said, "Mary, who are you talking about?" and she looked at me and said, "That Sweetheart I'm looking at" and I think I must have turned bright red! She is funny, I love her. I just wish she wouldn't tell Elders about me, haha!
Not much else happened until Friday until we had a lesson with Pete and started teaching him! He is hilarious! We sat out on the grass and taught him a lesson because we couldn't go into his apartment, and he asked good questions and he is interested in learning more about the church but he says he struggles with having faith, but we're working on it!
That's pretty much the only REALLY exciting thing that happened this week, but yesterday was a really good day just because it was fast Sunday and I fasted for a lot of people I love, and so that made me feel good! I also got to bear my testimony in all of the wards we went to, and that was nerve wracking but worth it! The members here are great! I love it here, but I miss and love all of you! Let me know how you are doing!

Mormon 7:5
Know ye that ye must come to knowledge of your fathers, and repent of all your sins and iniquities, and believe in Jesus Christ, that he is the Son of God, and that he was slain by the Jews, and by the power of the Father he hath risen again, whereby he hath gained the victory over the grave; and also in him is the sting of death swallowed up.
